A Police Beat.

Today we can see something a little lighthearted after all of the recent dreadful rioting that we all had to suffer through.
.
The Notting Hill Carnival closely followed on after that and people were very worried about what could happen there.
.
There was a massive police presence, which was reported to be higher than that which was used to cover the Royal Wedding of William And Kate.
And obviously a at great expense for the public purse.
.
Many people were of the opinion that the Carnival should just be cancelled altogether, which would stop residents having to suffer the noise and littering and usual incidents of bad behaviour.
.
However, it all went ahead as planned, and of course there were frightening things that happened during the festivities.
.
There were however, many bright moments, when the solemn public face of the police force was seen to smile.
Happy moments when the recent animosity was forgotten by all who experienced them.
.
In the following clip a group of revellers are gathered around one of the speakers to enjoy the dance beat.
They are, of course, under the watchful eye of the police.

Just see the pleasure of the dancing crowd, when a policeman suddenly gets it on and dances enthusiastically, even removing his helmet.
