Ahad. A Miracle Of Healing.

As I was researching for yesterday’s post about ‘half head man’, I came across a truly inspiring story.
.
In Dayton, Ohio, a 14 year old boy was a bystander who was terribly injured during a shooting.
He was found in a pool of blood, with an area of his head destroyed.
.
His surgeons had to cut away the right side of his skull and brain in order to deal with the extensive damage which had been caused.
.
Although he was not expected to pull through, he did miraculously manage to survive, but with only the left half of his head intact.
.
Throughout the next fourteen years Ahad underwent many different operations as his plastic surgeon tried to improve his condition.
At one point he even fell into a coma whilst undergoing one of these procedures.

Eventually the surgeon developed a silicone implant, which was like a breast implant, but formed as a solid shape.
This time there was great success, which resulted in Ahad being left with a normal shaped skull.

What a wonderful result.
