Apocalypse Now?

Hey,

.

How are you doing this Sunday.

I hope that your weekend is exceeding all of your expectations!

.

Ours has been a little disappointing owing to the inclement weather.

I awoke this morning to find that the bloody snow is back, and it is incredibly cold, with everything frozen up solid.

.

Yesterday we tried to go for a walk but it was solid ice underfoot and very treacherous, so much so that we had to make it very short and take great care not to slip.

Thank goodness for our wonderful electric blanket or I think that we would have hypothermia by now, just like the poor crabs.

.

I have been reading many more strange accounts of multiple bird and fish deaths in various places around the world recently.

One of the worst example seems to have been in the town of Faenza in Italy.

Inhabitants were shocked to see thousands of turtle doves falling down like rain upon the streets, cars and houses.

All were dead and found to show unusual blue stains upon their beaks.

When early tests were carried out on the creatures, experts said that the strange blue staining could have been the result of Hypoxia or some kind of poisoning.

.

The Hypoxia is a common sign of the onset of altitude sickness, and lack of oxygen.

This condition would result in sickness and confusion.

The number of birds affected in this incident are estimated to be over 8,000.

.

The thinking so far is that it could possibly have been caused by cold temperatures when the flock was carried upwards into a high altitude storm.
.

.

Strangely enough there have also been sudden deaths of large numbers of birds in many other countries too.
.

In Beebe near Arkansas, 3,000 blackbirds died suddenly.
.

Similar incidents have also taken place in Falkoping Sweden.
.

.

Also in Rockwell Texas.

Also in Pointe Coupee and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

.

What do you think of it all.
