This morning I was fine tuning something I did not like in my post, by doing an update on a just published post.

Big H asked what I was doing.

When I told him, he said that I should be careful because each time I fine tuned that way I might be sending yet another….and another….and yet another version of the same post to some poor people who would find themselves being driven mad by this weird form of spam.

If I have been doing that to you all the time then I do apologise.
The only defence I can offer is that I am actually still just a poor old Luddite who religiously follows all of Mr T’s instructions to the letter, without actually understanding a bloody thing.

Once again, sorry, I shall try not to do it again but if you expected to be reading posts from a computer Diva then you are in the wrong bloody place.
Besides, it must have made you feel popular anyway!

Or perhaps it has not been happening at all, and Big H is bloody wrong, again.

I think Big H may have been wrong. There are no multiple feeds in my reader. I think as long as you stick to the same URL for each post, it’ll only update the text when the RSS readers are refreshed. if that makes sense

The actual technical details do not really make a lot of sense to me, but I happily showed Big H your reply.

I am very pleased, because although I could sometimes be described as a nuisance, I prefer it to be deliberate.
