Away With The Birds.

Good day to you all.

We have another grey Sunday day here, after a rainy Saturday evening, but it is cheerful enough with lots of birds singing so I cannot complain.
Once again there are many birds waiting in the tree for their breakfast, but I am making them wait a while.
I am, after all, a fully fledged human being and not an avian doormat.
It’s not as if they ever say ‘thank You’ or even come near me….they are still treating me as if I am a French person ….even after all of this time.
I have noticed that the poor little dove is still all alone too, I do wish that she would somehow find another mate because it was so nice to hear them bill and coo before the disappearance.
It has been such a long time now.

Yesterday I put out lots of prawn crackers for them all once again, leftovers from a Friday night takeaway, and once more they just went berserk fighting over them.
I did try to take a photograph of them flying away with whole prawn crackers in their beaks, as I promised I would do, but the little buggers are so bloody fast that all I was left with were pictures of the sky etc.

To add insult to injury, I finally saw one land on a flat area of a close neighbours roof, prawn cracker firmly held in his beak, but when I triumphantly lifted up my camera it said I needed to charge the battery, and closed itself down.
That annoying bird then posed for bloody ages with the sodding cracker in it’s beak before, it got dive bombed by another thieving crow, who flew off with the said culinary treasure.

There we are then, I am now clearly revealed in my true nature.
I have not fed them this morning because I am obviously feeling vindictive because of yesterday’s failure to get my own way.
How sad is that!
.
I shall away and feed the poor, hungry, feathered, little creatures immediately and not be so spiteful about it.
It is a good time to stop anyway because I have not had a cup of coffee yet and I need to feed my new addiction.
The decaffeinated brand is working so far, with not a migraine in sight.
How excellent is that then.
