Awesome Salsa-dancing British Granny Wins Spanish TV Contest.

Did you hear the one about the 75 year old Salsa-dancing granny?

Well, once upon a time, a British pensioner and her husband did what so many older people do.
They retired to a place in Spain, near to Valencia.
.
So far so normal.
.
Five years ago, when Mrs. Jones was 70, her husband David died and she needed to decide what to do with the rest of her life.
.
She made a decision to remain in Spain and find new things to fill in her time.
.
Sarah ‘Paddy’ Jones had been a professional dancer in her youth so one of the things she decided to do was start dancing once more.
.
She attended a Salsa class run by a man called Nicko who was 40 years her junior.
They soon began dancing together and travelled to competitions all over the world.
.
In Spain there is a competiton called You Are Worth It, very similar to our own Britain’s Got Talent.
.
Both the Judges and the audience were blown away to see a 75 year old woman and her partner dancing the Salsa like energetic young professionals.

They won!
