Big H Is Happy.

Hoping all is well with yourself today.
.
Things are extremely mellow here at the moment.
The computer Big H chose on line, arrived exactly on time yesterday, which was very good.
He had a fine time getting into the box and unwrapping it all….just like Christmas all over again!

Of course there are always worries, especially with something that is refurbished, but so far so great.
It is a beautiful looking, sleek machine and almost totally unmarked, as advertised.
There is no instruction book, so I expect that the information will need to be downloaded from somewhere or other eventually but he is slowly setting it all up and learning as he goes along.
.
As you have obviously gathered by now, I know sod all about computers and I am totally unable to set one up, or do anything very clever unless someone patiently shows me every step of the process and I write it down carefully.
But hey, that’s why I have Big H isn’t it….and Mr T!

Once the delivery was made yesterday, we went out to Ikea and bought a small, black drop leaf table for it to sit upon, out of harm’s way, behind the black settee.
.
Of course, with Ikea it is not really that simple, because once we got it home Big H needed to sit on the floor for ages in order to work out the instructions and assemble the said table.
That took quite some time but it looked OK.
.
Once again, it was good to have someone to do that for me because it is all double dutch to me, or should I say double danish!
.
No doubt most of the day will be spent setting up the new acquisition, apart from one quick trip that I need to make to the shops, so it will be very quiet.
That is probably just as well actually because it is very, very cold again with a forecast for renewed snow.
Oh, my poor hyacinths!
I hope that they will be fine!

Now I had better go and feed the birds or they will probably decide to peck me to death next time they see me, just like poor Tippy Hendren in ‘The Birds’.
