Do you want the good news or the bad news.
Let’s start with the good…
Well, we are still unseasonably warm here at the moment, which is a welcome change from the Arctic style conditions….
but….
There are now flood warnings all over the country because of unusually high rainfall which is swelling the rivers big time….
Hmmm.
.
I think that we should begin on a high note in order to cheer you all up because no-one really likes Mondays.

There have been more birds falling down from the skies in the town of Constanta, Romania, and these ones were lots of starlings
.
Come on, you may well ask, what is cheering about more news to do with the world-wide Aflockalyps…. there is nothing cheering about that at all….we are doomed!

Well, just wait a moment, don’t be so distrustful!
In this instance the cause of the problem was quickly discovered by the vets who examined them afterwards, suspecting that they had died because of some type of bird flu.
.
The results were startling to say the learst.
It seems that the naughty birds were actually dead drunk.
Apparently they had been eating grapes, left after the wine-making was done.
They had managed to become totally inebriated and had basically drunk themselves to death.
.
So, a typical Friday night on the alcohol then!
You know what men always say say….that birds can’t hold their drink….they always end up in the gutter with their legs in the air!
