Bullying. Words Are Worse Than Sticks And Stones, By Alye Pollock.
Hi,
.
Today we have a fine Friday morning.
.
When I arose I was greeted by light grey cloudy skies, but it is still bright, and a lot warmer than it was a few weeks ago.
We have enjoyed quite a few slightly chilly, but still very sunny days lately, and that is most enjoyable.
Roll on summer and picnics, and barbies with ice cold beer, and kids enjoying themselves outdoors.
.
Remember that last post about bullying, and the boy who finally retaliated after years of quiet suffering.
.
I am still distressed to think how many such children are suffering from similar bullying.
.
How many of these children will eventually do anything to just escape from their unbearable situation.
What happened to having an innocent and carefree childhood!.
Alye Pollock is a girl of 13, living in Connecticut.
She attends Bedford Middle School in Westport.
.
Ironically, it is reported that her parents moved house in order to ensure her acceptance at such a highly thought of school.
Unfortunately, things did not work out as planned!
.
This girl has been suffering from daily bullying.
Her parents did not know what was happening to their daughter.
.
Luckily she did not give up.
She posted this moving video on UTube, using a method perfected by Bob Dylan* many years ago.
.
Words Are Worse Than Sticks And Stones.

.
What are things coming to.
This film shows a girl having to fight.
