Did you know that on 1st April this year a Polar Bear was found lying exhausted on a Scottish beach?

During a routine wildlife survey, carried out by a gentleman named Dave Sexton who is an RSPB officer, a strange thing occurred.
Mr Sexton saw something large and white lying on a beach on the Isle Of Mull.
Upon closer inspection it turned out to be a white Polar Bear, seemingly dead.

When he walked over to examine the body more closely, he was surprised to find that not only was it alive and breathing, but it was able to open it’s eyes.
After quickly snapping a few camera shots he rapidly retreated to obtain some assistance.

Upon his return the animal was gone.

Everyone then began looking for the unfortunate bear, which experts think must have been brought across from either Greenland or somewhere like the Svalbard Archipelago, on an ice floe.

Islanders were warned not to approach the animal because it would most probably be extremely hungry.
