Cheer Up Keanu Reeves Day.

Hi,

.

It all began with a snap of Keanu sitting alone, looking very introspective, on a park bench in SoHo, New York.

This melancholy image of him holding a piece of bread, and the waiting pigeon, really connected with his many fans and admirers.

The photographer being a paparazzo called Ron Asadorian and Splash being his picture agency.

.

The eventual result was that people declared a ‘Cheer Up Keanu Reeves Day’ and then they found various methods of doing so.
.

.

It included uploading doctored pictures of the photo, with various companions added as company for him.

These ranged from Winston Churchill to adorable kittens, by way of Lady Gaga.

Apparently one showed him dancing with Shrek, one showed him chasing a lion, and of course there was said to be a revival of Keanu Reeves bingo.

Others gave him lists of reasons why he should be happy and glad.

Let’s face it, if other men of 45 could suddenly look like him they would probably be well happy too

.

He really does seem to be a very popular actor and the mood of the various contributors to the fun seems to be kind and affectionate.

.

A young American man called Daniel Murphy is said to have begun the craze on the Internet.

When he then asked for donations for Cancer Research he received many offers of help.

.

Personally I think the man is not so much unhappy as individual.

He manages to keep himself private and obviously has his own methods of keeping it real, one of which is walking around SoHo, New York by himself and not drawing attention.

Let’s face it, many superstars just go off it totally and get stuck up their own cul-de-sacs.

Some actors also need to be introspective in order to do their work.
Imagine getting in the mood to be the dancing serial killer in The Watcher.
Whoah, I thought he was scary.

.

Hopefully he has a good sense of humour and found enjoyment and humour in the whole thing.

.

He seems like a nice serious man and I hope that he is happy.

.

On a less serious note…no, I have not changed my mind….and yes I would!

J,x.
