Disappointed After All.

I myself have had a disappointment after all!
.
Remember when I told you that I was hoping that Big H would drive me to my favourite antique shop so that I could reconsider that Marilyn type dress that I was unsure about?
Well, I did eventually get there to review the dress.
At first I could not find it anywhere and I thought that it had been sold, so suffering all of the associated frustration and disappointment about missing out on it, before I chatted with the owner and mentioned what I had been looking for.
She protested that the dress was still in stock and bustled off to see if she could find it for me herself.

After some confusion she eventually discovered it on the wrong coat-hanger, all covered over with a huge green cape.
Success!

I was very pleased and rushed off to try it on in the fitting room (toilet).
It made all the right thrilling and rustling noises as I pulled it on….but it did not fit me.
.
On closer examination, I found that the reason it was too tight under the arms, was obviously because some strangely truncated alien had totally shortened the shoulder straps to fit themselves and therefore rendered it unfit for the normal human body.
How disappointing, it was as it was very pretty indeed.
.
Never mind, you win some and you lose some.
At least I can forget about it now and become obsessed by something else entirely, as is my habit.
It never takes me long!
