Everyone Was In Tears.
Hi Everyone,
.
I hope that you are well and that you have enjoyed a good week.
.
Sometimes I think that we are not grateful enough for the things we have if we are lucky, such a food, shelter, safety and love.
.
This was brought home to me once more when an artist friend of mine, who lives over in a lovely part of France, sent me the YouTube clip that I am posting for you today.
He was most impressed with the young man shown in it.
.
This was taken from the ‘Korea’s Got Talent’ show.
.
The young man, Sung-Bong Choi, who is auditioning was asked why he had left the’Family’ box, on the audition details slip, totally blank.
.
His answer was that he was put in an orphanage at three.
He thenran away from an orphanage when he was five years old beacause he was being beaten.
.
He then lived alone on the streets for the next ten years, sleeping on the stairs or in public toilets.
He existed by selling energy drinks to passers-by.
He never went to school during that time, and was alone.
.
Later on, after taking a certificate he was able to eventually go to High School.
He became a manual worker.
.
Now he is twenty two and decided be courageous enough to sing in the competition, and hopes to be a singer.
He just taught himself after hearing someone singing in a club while he was hustling around selling the drinks.
.
His Audition.
.
.
Most of the audience and the panel ended up in tears.
.
What a voice!
J.
