Evil Is Alive And Well.

In the 1700′s Edmund Burke said,
…’the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing’…
.
You could say that this is like the situation that we have allowed to develop today.
Because we deny the possibility of evil.
.
We say that all the evil things that people do, are due to outside influences, such as upbringing and brutal treatment, abuse and bad examples.
.
Everything is seen as being caused purely by nurture, and not nature, and therefore amenable to correction by counselling and retraining.
It was not their fault.
This is dangerous thinking- evil is ignored.
Our world is too sophisticated and liberal to believe in evil.

Such thinking leads to evil people being given therapy, and being subsequently released, on the order of psychologists and psychiatrists who now believe that the offender is ‘cured’.
Later, they are often found to have repeated the original offences.

Some people have a great capacity for evil.
.
Evil is real and present today.
