Finally, It Is Here.

I am hoping that you are having fun this weekend….because I certainly plan to.

We have been to see the dressmaker and we collected our costumes for the long-awaited Georgian Fancy Dress ball which we have been patiently looking forward to for many months.
It has finally arrived and will be underway this very weekend, and Big H looks very fetching in his new blue velvet outfit and fancy waistcoat.
.
My dress is a deep red silky material, with white lace frills, and a rose patterned underskirt….and hopefully my horrid wig will not be too bad.
Anyway there will be shedloads of Champagne, red wine and white wine to drink, so I expect I shall very soon be past caring whether my nylon headpiece looks good or not…and just having fun.
.
When we first arrive there will be champagne and canapes, served by a footman in full costume …… and classical music will be playing.
After a half an hour or so there is a fine meal in the red, gold and marble ballroom, followed by a DJ and a disco.
.
It will be excellent to see all of the Georgians rocking!
It should be a fine night for all forty of us guests.

Then a taxi home and pass out!
.
Our last job today was to buy some white ballet tights for Big H, and now all is ready to go.
