Greetings to you upon this very excellent day.
I am in a wonderful mood today.
Why, you may ask, always supposing that you have nothing better to do than indulge me!

Well, with regard to my somewhat desperate post yesterday, when I was faced with the seemingly impossible task of finding something to wear for that very important wedding which is coming up soon.
I did it, I did it.
I did it!
I got a beautiful silk suit that actually does fit like a glove….I did have to make a concession in that it is turquoise rather than the silver/grey that I was hoping for….but it is quite beautiful and special.
So I am totally thrilled with my good luck….and of course my extreme cleverness.

All I need now is a bag and a fascinator and I will be all set to party.
Normally I would have chosen a hat but with this colour I think that something small is better. Especially as I wear glasses and that can quickly make things too busy, for me anyway.
Especially with my newest choice of glasses, with all of the diamante.
That makes me sound like Dame Edna I expect, but I do like a bit of bling.

Actually, that Sky News Channel is great.
When I was looking at the pretty David, I was also amused by looking at people with Birmingham Pub ASBOs at the turn or the century.

Today will be a quiet day because I can now take my time getting the other bits that I am needing.

I cannot personally afford this sort of stuff now and probably never will be able to….but hey, life is not really about this sort of conspicuous consumption stuff anyway is it?

I definately wouldn’t spend money that I don’t have trying to own any incredibly expensive designer stuff….but I am sure that it is good retail therapy for the uber rich.

However, if I WERE incredibly rich, I WOULD support charities that are trying to save the world and the people and animals living on it.
They need help….see my being green and creatures great and small sections.
