I Have Found My Dream.

How are you today then?
I’ll bet you are not half as pleased as I am at present because….I have finally found the leopard coat that I have been waiting for.
.
It is a dark shade of browns, with three-quarter sleeves, and has a collar that stands up by itself.
It is very glamorous and extremely warm.
I know that it is very warm because I wore it in the house for most of yesterday afternoon, and a lot of that time was spent looking in the mirror….and purring….that’s me of course, not the coat!

It is not a very important happening in the overall scheme of things, but it has definitely given me a great deal of pleasure.
.
So, there we were yesterday in our house, with me swanning around in my coat, and Big H sitting in his favourite chair, lost in his new game which is Halo: Reach.
He was thrilled when the postman delivered it in the morning and could not have been more pleased if he had opened the box and found Angelina Jolie inside it, dressed only in a big smile.
Well, perhaps not as pleased as he would be with that, but very pleased nonetheless!

It just shows how different men and women can be.
If I had received the Halo game I would not have been pleased one little bit and he would not thank you for a large size brand new leopard coat either, whether or not the collar stood up properly, but luckily we both got the correct thingy.
Serendipity!

To round off the day perfectly, we ordered ourselves a lovely take-away in the evening as we frequently do.
I had Singapore-style noodles, with prawn crackers, and it was superb.
And no, I did not wear my new coat while scoffing it.
Come on people, I do have some taste….most of it bad!

It may have been one of those dreaded early days of the week, but for me it turned out to be better than a lot of Fridays are.
I do hope that your own week is going as brilliantly as mine is.
