I See A Red Moon Rising.

Just a quickie for you in case you want to watch for something unusual happening to the moon tonight….and no, it is not going to be a blue moon this time.
.
Tonight the moon will turn red for a time as it passes through the Earth‘s shadow in a total eclipse, lasting until the midnight hour strikes.
Of course sunset occurs at different times in different places but in the UK we should be able to look for it after about 9.15pm.

This eclipse is an unusual opportunity because it will be a long one of about one hour and forty minutes….one which moon-gazers have been waiting for since the last long one which was about eleven years ago.
