I’m Enjoying Myself Lots.
G’Day Cobbers,
.
Oh dear, I have gone all Australian again.
That is obviously evidence of too many barbies….I will be changing my name to Sheila next and drinking Fosters instead of Guinness!
We had a lovely barbie yesterday and everyone was well impressed with Big H’s new cooking ‘niques, both on the newer, bigger, all singing all dancing Barbie and with the new Tefal fat free chipmaker.
Everyone likes to be cooked for and as for me, I am happy not to cook.
I would consider eating chocolate covered cockroaches if somebody else cooked it instead of me having to do it.
.
The huge trifle was not my most inspired choice of things to make because everyone else is watching their weight these days.
However the layered jellies proved to be impressive and were much admired.
It is a shame that I cannot put the remainder out for the birds because they would probably have enjoyed it a lot.
.
This morning I did put a whole bag of leftover prawn crackers for my feathered friends and they spent an industrious half an hour ferociously consuming the lot.
We had all enjoyed a late evening selection of Chinese meals last night, although I could only manage to consume half of my hot Singapore Noodles because of the big barbie earlier in the afternoon.
That means a tasty breakfast for me as soon as I finish this post, which I am quickly doing before anyone else arises.
.
I also decided to make a black velvet puppet when I have time and inspiration
Hmmmm, That will be interesting, but I will do my best although I shall have to work out how to make it and then sew it by hand, unless I can get the old machine working.
I certainly would not wear anything that I made myself, unless I was extremely drunk at the time, because it would save me being sick on my good clothes!
.
Today I am hoping for better weather because it would be nice to go to the Sea World aquarium at Tynemouth and then go for fish and chips at Marshall’s, closely followed by feeding the left over chips to the seagulls on the cliffs and then a lovely walk on the beach.
Or do the something similar at Bamburgh.
.
I wonder what you did this weekend?
Hopefully you are having a fun time and not spoiling it by wearing clothes that somebody else, as unpracticed as me, made for you for surprise present!
LOL,
J,x.
