In the News: Cat

Hey Peeps,

.

Yesterday I read a very amusing little story in The Times.

It was a tale about a twelve year old, black and white cat named Caspar, who lives with his mistress in Plymouth.

.

For some time Caspar had been making his way to a local bus stop, in order to take the 11 mile round-trip through the city. He had done this often enough to become quite a local celebrity, to the extent that the local passengers would always wake him up if he was asleep, and in danger of going on past his stop.

His wanderlust was finally discovered by his owner, on the day he followed her,  as she went to a local bus stop to catch a Nmber 3 bus .

She was then told that her cat had been a popular customer on the route for many previous months.

.

The bus company have said that there is definitely no question of her being charged for Caspar’s bus trips.  On the contrary, they are planning to decorate their bus with a picture of their extremely popular traveller.

Isn’t that smashing.
