Is Charlie Mad Or What.

It is Thursday…. so let’s be silly today!

No real precedent, I just feel like it.

Did you know that a 12 year old cat called Smokey, who hails from Pitsford, which is near to Northampton, has apparently won the Guinness World Record for having the loudest purr ever.
.
It is reported that this little furry thing can reach an impossible 92 decibels when she gets going….which is more than 3 times the volume of a normal cat’s purr ( 25 decibels).
.
How on earth can the owners hear themselves speak, and I’ll bet they had to ban her from their bedroom at nights!

What about this then.

Well, that was quite sweet, wasn’t it folks.
.
However there are some other, quite revolting, records to be had.
.
What about a certain Mr Charlie Bell.
He offered to attempt anything at all, to try and win a Guinness World Record.
.
He ended up trying for the record for ‘moving the most maggots by mouth’, needing to move more than 15 kg in an hour.
.
And, horribly enough, one hour later he had moved 17kg….and therefore won the obviously well coveted title.
Urgggh!
