As it is summer….almost….it is time that we enjoyed a crickety post.
And a funny one, because I know bugger-all about cricket.

There have actually been some really funny bits of commentary during cricket matches.

The latest one was heard during a BBC Test Match Special at Lords.
Jonathan Agnew managed to do it again and reduce everyone to helpless giggles….not helped by Phil Tufnell.

It happened because the batsman, who was Kevin Pieterson, needed to put a new rubber grip onto the handle of his bat.
.
When Jonathan Agnew began to describe what ‘putting on this new rubber’ would entail, he unknowingly trod in dangerous waters….much to the glee of everyone else.
