Many people now keep a dog or cat in their homes.
Some people may even have the permanent company of two or three furry creatures…and sometimes they complain about the hair that they have to hoover up and allergies developing, the vet’s fees and the general heavy responsibility for their pets.
There is also the amount of time that it takes up to look after them properly and the fact that they can stop you spontaneously going away somewhere.

Well, you ‘aint heard nothing yet.

There is one lady, who has a small two room flat in Siberia, and she lives there with 130 cats she has rescued.
This began 15 years ago with one cat and it has just grown because there are so many strays trying to make a living at temperatures that can drop to -40%c.

Whoah!…that is way scary.

It reminds me of Si and Am from Disney.

That clip reminds me of a Siamese cat that belonged to a single lady in a flat next to us when I was a small child.
Every now and again it would go berserk and really shriek terrifyingly.
.
At these times the lady would fetch her yard-broom and push the cat into the cupboard under the stairs until it eventually calmed down again.

They are the most beautiful of cats though, and I have often been tempted, but always ended up with a common or garden moggie…like my beloved Whiskey.

Animals are fun to have around, and good to stroke.
I miss having one a lot.
