Monday Strikes Again.

So Monday strikes again….as it does with monotonous regularity.
.
Was your weekend fine and dandy, I do hope so.
We did not even manage a walk yesterday because it rained for Britain.
.
Never mind, I did a lot of tidying up and tired myself out, so I was absolutely ready for some beer and a movie by the evening.
Poor Big H was also fagged out, but unfortunately not from doing anything, poor thing.
.
I also decided to sort out some boxes of those ‘important’ papers that we all seem to have hanging about the place.
It is very strange how scary it can be to actually throw away official-type stuff, even when it is from years ago.
Some of it I just tidied, and then put it away again, to throw out the next time I feel inspired to have a clear out..
It is ridiculous really because it is just hoarding.

If I am not careful I will end up saving newspapers, empty tins, old clothes and possibly sealed freezer bags of my own poo….named and dated!
Hmmm….I wonder if that could be described as a hobby….or just as an obsession..
.
Tomorrow Big H and I are supposed to go out to the shops so hopefully he will feel better then.
The trouble is that when it gets so cold it makes him feel tired, and he nods off in his chair frequently over the course of the day.
Thank goodness we have an appointment to go back to the hospital to see the tropical diseases expert next week.
Hopefully they will have received the results of all those blood tests etc they took last time, and they will be able to find out why his white cell count keeps dropping for no apparent reason.
And perhaps some closure on the tropical parasite worry that has plagued him for years.

It would be nice to see him start his retirement in better health so that we could start having some fun again.
Perhaps even look for flying saucers again…..with a whisky chaser!
