Remember the post about the 71 year old ‘Superwoman’ who tackled criminals all on her own when she assumed that a boy was being attacked, and ended up preventing a robbery?

Well, the story continues.

Ann Timson, the pensioner who foiled robbers who were in the process of robbing a Jeweller’s store in Northampton town centre, is still going strong.
She has become famous because of her ‘get up and go’ attitude.
.
She is of such interest that she was actually flown out to appear on NBC television in the USA.
.
Now, she has decided to auction the ‘famous’ handbag that she used to bash the robbers and ‘see them off’, when they fled in disarray.
The proceeds will be donated to charity.

There was a very welcome side effect after the brave lady was flown to America, because she was able to spend time with her son Andre who is living there.
.
Although she has had some trouble with her arthritis since she energetically saw off the criminals I am sure she is enjoying her sudden fame….and good luck to her too!
She deserves all the admiration she gets.
