Morning Call.

Hi,

.

Here I am, up again early this morning.

Normally, when it is so totally freezing cold I try to stay in bed a bit longer if I can, but I had no chance this morning.

The birds decided to make such an amazing cacophony of sound, for so long, that I was amazed by it.

It sounded as if every bird in the county was up above my house.

.

Anyway, I got up and dressed very quickly, furry boots and all, and went out to feed them a whole big bag of Bombay Mix as a reward for the enthusiastic wake-up call.

After all, it is the thought that counts!

.

Actually I am in a very good mood this weekend because all is going well with Big H at the moment.

We spent Friday afternoon at the hospital, to hear the results of the last MRI scan.

We had been living with the uncomfortable knowledge that if the tumour had grown it would be necessary for him to undergo a brain operation to remove it.

.

Thankfully it still appears to be the same size and it is not pressing onto the optic nerve with the resultant threat to his eyesight, as was feared.

Therefore we happily left the place knowing that we can forget about it until the next brain scan in a further six months.

How good is that.

.

They are still trying to get the replacement hormone dosages right so that he will feel better, so hopefully that problem too will be solved soon.

.

It is sad to think how many people are trying to get through normal days and worries while also trying to cope with all sorts of medical problems, or other stresses, that no-one knows about.

In future, when someone passes through my life being aggressive, short tempered or rude and grumpy, I shall give them the benefit of the doubt because they may also be feeling afraid and dreadful because of something huge in their life at the time.

I say I shall try, but I might not succeed!

.

Today is a Sunday of course, so it will be newspapers, lots of hot tea and whiskey, and snuggling in the house unless Big H feels energetic.

In which case we may manage a nice walk and I may once again meet a nice grey cat that lives in a nearby house.

He is very plump and handsome and he likes a good stroke….so we will both be happy.

.

At the very least I shall try and have a laugh.

Have a very fine day yourself, and I wish you warmth!

J,x.
