Complaints Of Vote-Fixing At X Factor Semi-Finals.

Oh My,

.

Press reports of problems again in X Factorland.

This is because of the sudden sing-off, which took place in last night’s semi final, between Cher Lloyd and Mary Byrne.

I don’t think this has happened before in the history of the show, because usually the voters are in control at that point.

.

On Saturday evening Dermot O’Leary seemed to clearly say that the public vote, and the public vote alone alone, would get their favourite acts through to the finals.

The judges no longer having any say in the matter at all from that point on.

.

Then suddenly on Sunday night, there was the announcement of a sing-off, with the judges choosing the act that they liked best instead of allowing the lowest vote to choose.

.

It does seem that the judges are determined to push Cher through, no matter what the ‘vote paying’ public seem to want.

She is getting low votes now.

.

This is causing a great deal of rage because viewers are vociferously making protests, with many complaints being made to Ofcon, as well as huge numbers showing their disgust on the web.

Voters are asking for their money to be refunded because they have been taken for a ride and have been wasting their hard earned cash on meaningless voting.

.

Oh yes…. and on the week that they finally voted out Wagner, I remember Simon saying that he was pleased because now the voting was back where it should be….in the hands of the people!

.

Apparently  X Factor spokespeople have said that the decision to have a sing-off at that point was taken ages ago and had nothing to do with being determined to control the contestants picked for the final.

Many people seem to think that once they realised that Mary had far more votes than Cher….the plot was hatched!

.

There are also reports that Cheryl seems to have arranged to sing a duet with Cher on the finalists debut album.

Obviously they know who they like best!

Not so good for them if she went yesterday.

.

Of course, people always complain and it passes, so why should the programme bosses be worried this time!

You know the saying….controversy=publicity=Ker-ching!

.

There is always something going on in the land of X Factor!
