New Take On A Bouncing Baby
Hi,
.
Well we have all heard of people admiring a bouncing baby, but now there is a brand new take on the old saying.
.
It has been reported that last week a doctor called Phillipe Bensignor was in the vicinity of a cafe in Paris, when he suddenly became aware that he was seeing a possible tragedy happening.
He dashed to help.
.
It seems that an 18 month old baby had fallen from a seventh storey balcony, 60ft above the street.
Luckily for child there was a cafe situated on the ground floor.
.
Also lucky was the fact that the awning had not been closed up for the day.
It should have been, because the ‘Tabac De Vincennes’ was shut that day because it was All Saints Day, and normally the awning would not be opened up.
Luckily it had jammed open the day before and could not be closed.
.
Because of this the baby hit the awning and then bounced off again.
.
The baby then landed in the waiting arms of the doctor who had run to assist.
The tragedy was averted and the child was completely unhurt.
The only casualty apparently being the awning, which was said to have a slight tear in it!
.
Reports say that the police later removed the parents into custody, as they were suspected of neglecting the child.
The toddler’s sister,3, was also said to have been in the apartment with him.
.
‘Howzat’ for a champion catch.
The child’s name was not given, but I think Lucky would be an appropriate one!
J,x.
