On A Plate. AnimaNaturalis.

It is amazing to me how many people are actually prepared to put their money where their mouth is, like the members of AnimaNaturalis.
.
This group was started in about 2003, and is trying to change attitudes towards animals.
.
They stage inventive, eye-catching and publicity catching protests to further their understandable aims.
.
They have just arranged a display in the marketplace in the city of Barcelona, which is a wonderful display of pure performance art.
It needs no words at all.
.
Shopprs were amazed to see a giant plate on the ground, with a huge knife and fork arranged at the sides.
Arranged on the plate are various vegetables and some fake blood …. along with a supine young lady lying curled up and in the nude, as still as a pork chop would.

Other activists stand behind carrying a banner which asks the question …. How Much Cruelty Can You Swallow… to denounce the eating of meat.

So Gaudi had competition that day.
A wonderful piece of protest and political art!

They have various protests happening all of the time.
This is a protest from December 2009.

It is a protest againt bullfighting in Pamploma, carried out by Peta and AnimaNaturalis.
