Ooooh, This Water Is Just Right.

What a good morning.

.

Things have changed here at last and we are all walking about casting a long shadow.

Just like ‘High Noon’ but without the guns and cowboy hats or the wagons and Gary Cooper, or even the services of a Lucien Ballard!

.

I think that we shall enjoy our perambulations today, once Big H finally gets out of the bath and gets himself dressed.

.

Unfortunately that will take quite some time because he does not know how to have a quick bath.

He goes up the the bathroom with his Sudoku books, novels and a pot of tea and then the world stands still as far as he is concerned.

It takes him hours and hours to come back out again.

.

I don’t understand it myself because i hate having baths, and as for sitting in my own dirty water afterwards ….Urghhhh!

.

What I like is a quick hair wash and then a scrub, in a nice warm shower, before jumping straight out again….minutes at most.

.

I think that the world is actually divided up into people who burn scented candles, listen to favourite music, read books, meditate and drink ice-cold wine in the bath….and those who just want to get really clean without any bloody fussing around.

I would rather read my book and have a glass of wine, in a comfortable chair, with my feet up, afterwards.

It’s ‘the tortoise and the hare’ kind of stuff really.

.

I mean, if I was like Big H, then he would take up all morning having his bath until mid-afternoon, and then I would take my turn relaxing in the bath all afternoon and half of the evening.

Boring!!!!

Or perhaps that should be….boring but clean!!!

.

Sometimes it gets comedic because I eventually make lunch, after waiting until about two o’clock, and then have to take it upstairs to the bathroom because it is getting cold on the table because he still has not appeared yet.

Just imagine, eating a meal in the bath too….Yuckky!

.

But hey, each to his own, I guess that the truth is that some people are able to relax and indulge, and others cannot.

I have to admit that I find it hard to do it in that way, and adding the jacuzzi touch to it just makes it intolerable to me. and I cannot wait to get back out.

.

Now, sitting at the end of a jetty on a fine day with my feet in the water, a cool breeze and a glass of cold beer….just bring it on.

.

So, what shall you do today.

If you ARE the long scented bath type of person, then nirvana is always available at the turn of the tap.

Hold that thought!

J,x.
