Orangutan Saves Drowning Duckling.

I have found a new and interesting video on YouTube which features a baby duckling and an orangutan.
.
The baby duck was struggling in a zoo pool, after seeming to being abandoned by it’s mother.
.
The orangutan, taking a rest beside the pool, suddenly sees the agitation in the water below him.
Once his attention has been caught he moves closer to see what is causing it.
.
Soon he realises that there is a creature struggling there and pulls a leaf from a nearby plant, in order to use it to touch the duckling.
Eventually he moves the duck into a cleft in the rocks and beds close to examine his find.

Eventually he takes the duckling from the water, placing it in front of him on the grass.
He is very gentle and moves the bedraggled little thing about, curiously watching it to see what happens.
.
You can hear the gasps of horror amongst the zoo visitors when he suddenly puts his little find up to his mouth as it to bite it….as orangutans are known to eat smaller mammals sometimes along with their usual diet of fruit.
Fortunately he is still only being curious and the little bird is actually OK.
Quite human really.
