Oversight In Jude Law Film.

Hey,

.

Finally we have a thaw.

The icicles were dripping like mad yesterday and snow was thudding down off the roofs.

.

The roads are mostly clear enough to be no problem, except for the less used back streets.

We went to check on the car again and were at last able to move it from it’s previously fixed place.

The drive we took, to make sure the battery was fine, was a very pleasant change.

.

We are told that this warmer spell will only last until next weekend, but it is excellent.

.

Just a quick bit of film trivia for you.

.

Last night we watched an old Jude Law film, made in 2001, called ‘Enemy At The Gates’.

.

Big H spotted something for those of you who like to find oversights in a period setting.

.

This one is set in WW2 Stalingrad, with a deadly game between two snipers, one a German and one a Russian.

Big H suddenly burst out laughing when the actors were making their way through some workshop buildings, because he spotted some men climbing up a chimney stack in the background.

When he ran the film back to have a look, one of them was wearing a bright red high visibility jacket.

Later on in the scene the said chimney blew up during the bombing!.
.

It is actually quite good I suppose, if you like war films, and snipers, and betrayals…and Jude Law.
