Poem: A Personal Pearl Harbour.
A Personal Pearl Harbour.
.
It was like a darkened room
So I threw in a grenade or two
To ensure that you were not
Waiting in ambush for me.
You did not expect the depth
Of the way I abused you
But, judging from your reactions
To the unexpected pain of it,
I am now feeling comfortable
With the idea of finally trusting you.
