Poem: Better Safe Than.

Better Safe Than.

.

Quite late, upon an empty street,

There was a man I chanced to meet.

.

Hie voice was smokey with a vibrant hum

That thrilled me right down to my bum.

.

He said, ‘I’ve noticed you before,

Please let me walk you to your door.’

.

They say be careful as you go,

Don’t pick up strange guys you don’t know.

.

Don’t give your name or your abode.

So I played it safe and off I strode.
