It was unbearable
to see the photograph
of you with your damaged son.
To see the pain upon your face.
He gave all that he was
to his beloved country
but here is nothing we can do to help you
except to pray for a miracle.

we can do something > vote non dumb governments in/ and people that don’t believe in their moral and religious superiority.
I don’t watch anymore soldier funerals. it breaks my heart.

Surely we can try to make our feelings clear about this subject.

If young men go off to war, then the least the government who ask so much of them can do is to look after those who are injured, in aproper and decent manner.

Too many of these men are not given the help and support that they both need and deserve.
I am ashamed of the way they are treated here in the UK, where is the long term care!
