Well, it is fascinating to see that her ‘different’ hat has now taken on a life of it’s own….quite independently of her.

Princess Beatrice’s hat brings terror to all.

It has now got pages of it’s own on the popular Facebook site, with many thousands of enthusiastic fans.

The Internet is now awash with all sorts of imaginatively tweaked Princess Beatrice Wedding Hats with doctored pictures of the hat as it morphs into more and more fantastic incarnations.
They are featured with everything from food, eacaping cats, to toilet seats and even her mother.
Such fun!

um. yeah. that “hat” was more like a trophy hanging in a hunting lodge. there’s avant-garde, there’s lady-gaga-esque fashion, and then there’s silly mismatched things that are ridiculous.
And I don’t know why her sister wore that outfit. It looked like a half-formed thought.
Then again, I don’t remember if Fergie had a good sense of style, so many genetics?
To answer one of your comment questions: Yes I have a musical background. I trained as a classical pianist when I was 4 years old and up. Passed a few exams (oddly enough from the AB Royal Schools of Music) and just kinda stopped after reaching the final levels. I play for my own pleasure now, less concerned with performance, theory or composition.
I’ve also picked up the spanish guitar in my teen years, but i’m afraid it wasn’t a high priority for my parents so the skills reflect the half-hearted investment in that field
we had our elections yesterday. I still think we should have the day off today to recover from any hangovers and/or begin dealing with reality. a most horrid affair.

I am sitting here well impressed with you now.
Imagine being able to feel a bit moody and then go over to a piano, with a large drink, and just play something suitable …. or even write a song.
Whoahhh….bliss.

I just swear a lot about everything instead, but anybody can do that, although my swearing CAN get a bit creative at times.

You can always do that thing of telling yourself that you will pick up the guitar again, and become amazing with it, once you have reached your retiremen years…but it rarely works out that way in my experience.
People are just the same, only older versions.

I hate political stuff.
I believe that anyone who desperately wants to be in politics should be refused….because they are not the sort of people you want to have in charge.
