Sean Murtagh Superglued His Hat Onto His Head. It Worked!

Hello Folks,

.

I greet you once again at a risibly early hour because I could not sleep and am therefore up far too early once again.

.

.

How about a midweek giggle to help the week along.

.

Today it is provided courtesy of a young man called Sean Murtagh who had decided to dress up for Halloween.

.

He actually ended up in A&E with his partner Lee.

.

It seems that he had wanted to wear a stylish little sequined top hat to celebrate but he needed some way to make it stay on his head.

The solution had seemed to be a fabric glue, which would have been removable by simply washing it off.

Unfortunately it would not stick on properly.

.

Then Sean had his good idea….and for some strange reason he decided to stick the little hat on with Superglue.

Guess what….it worked wonderfully….until he realised that it would not come off again.

.

As he could not go to his job as a Shop Manager the following day, wearing a small sequined top hat, he ended up in the hospital A&E to ask for help in removing the now unwanted item.

.

The doctor eventually had to tell him that 50% of the hat was still firmly attached to his skin.

The only solution was to cut off the top part of the hat and leave the brim stuck there in the hope that soaking it in soapy water would eventually allow it’s removal in a few days.

.

Luckily for the embarrassed man it did come off about 12 hours later, after dedicated wetting, much to his relief.

.

He had tried soaking his head before the trip to the hospital but it had not worked at all.

Needless to say, he did not get a great deal of sympathy from his partner, as Lee was too busy laughing, and taking photographs

.

At least the medical record looked amusing with a large drawing of Sean’s head…and the position of the glued-on hat.

Have a good one and if you suddenly get any similar good ideas….try thinking about it first!
