My god, did you know about the expose done on the inhuman way that the animals at Woburn are kept in.
Although it has been trading on the fact that they say animals are allowed to roam free in a ‘natural environment’ this has now been discovered to be far from the truth.

When the public are not there, they are packaged into tiny cages for up to 18 hours a day, and dangerous enclosures have left some animals blind and in unbearable pain.
The awful truth of the cruelty of the treatment of animals has been exposed in a recent report drawn up by government inspectors.

Sea lions have been kept in dangerous chlorinated water, even after warnings that ulcers were being caused to the creatures eyes, until one poor animal was temporarily blinded and in such agony that it was biting the sides of the pool.

Lions are rounded up by keepers in Landrovers the moment that the visitors leave and are then confined to 10 foot square breeze block pens until the following day’s visitors are due.
In winter the park is open for only a short time each day and this has resulted in the animals being cooped up for about 18 hours per day
