Synchronised Pleasures.

Hi, welcome to Sunday,

.

Unfortunately, I could not sleep again last night, so I ended up rising in the very early hours, in a very cold house.

.

After making myself a huge pot of Lapsang and a hot Warburton’s Potato Pancake, I snuggled up in the big chair and read an Alex Cross story.
This one was ‘Kiss The Girls’, by James Patterson of course.

An excellent book in a most excellent series.

.

However, I was startled out of the story at about 7.15 when I suddenly heard the raucous call of many birds.
They were swirling through the sky en-mass, in a veil of blackness flowing into many shapes against the bright band of the coming dawn.

.

What an awesome sight they are when that happens, but this morning there were two special birds that were flying around closely together in an isolated counterpoint to the strict formations of the others.

.

What a lovely start to my day.
A true highpoint of pleasure.

.

If the day gets any better than this I think that I will wet myself!

.

Have a joyful Sunday yourselves too.
J,
