Take Pictures Without Having To Carry A Camera.

What a pleasant morning we have here today.
I got up early and went out to feed the birds as usual and was suddenly struck by the need to get a bucket of soapy water and wash the patio table and chairs….closely followed by the back door…. and the yard door.
Needless to say that the birds were not too pleased because they are too nervous to fly onto the wall while I am there….so they had too wait, but that’s life even for birds.

Yesterday was a fine day in more ways than one.
Big H was feeling a lot better all of a sudden so he took me to Tynemouth for our usual fish and chips.
As I did not eat all of mine I put the remains in a paper napkin so that I could feed the seagulls on the beach.
It was lovely and sunny so we had a nice little walk and looked at the sea.
The gulls were their usual rabid selves and flew down in a flock and were snatching chips out of the air without even landing until every scrap was gone. What beautiful huge birds they are and I love their raucous screaming.
Next time I will take my camera to get some pictures, in case I feel like painting them.

If I had some of those new video sunglasses then I could video everything as I see it and paint whatever I fancied.

They are called Immortals and cost about £250.
I think that the arms are made thicker than on usual sports glasses, because there is a 3Mp camera
that shoots 25 frames per second ( 736/480 resolution), a rechargeable battery and 4Gb of memory.
This is enough for an hour or more of video.
There is a little lens on the nose bridge.

They are said not to be uncomfortable because they only weigh a little under 2.5oz.
You can transfer clips to the computer using USB.

You can also ring the changes, as you get spare lenses, so you can be cool with either orange, clear or grey.

Although they are splashproof they are not waterproof, so care must be taken not to ruin the video option.
They sound like a good pressie for the person who has everything but two pairs of hands!

I love the idea but I think that I will wait until they are the usual thing to buy when you get your sunglasses….and much cheaper too!
Until then, I will be content with my normal prescription sunglasses, after all they have diamante type stuff on them too.
