Ted Williams. Lost And Found.
Good Morning Folks,
.
Well, this morning I have a cheering story of how life can change for anyone….just like that.
.
In America, a videographer who was driving by, noticed a man begging for a dollar at the side of the road.
He noticed that the man was carrying a large piece of cardboard which said that he had a god-given gift of voice.
It continued on to say that he had once been a radio announcer but he had fallen on hard times and would like a new chance.
.
The videographer, who was called Dural Chenoweth, found that his interest was stirred and ‘on a whim’ he told the beggar that he would have to work for his dollar and say something on film.
.
That was all it took.
The film was uploaded and soon went worldwide, causing a sensation, with everyone trying to hire him for voice-over work.
An agent has forecast that he will soon be a millionaire because of his wonderful voice and the terrific amount of interest in his story.
.
It seems that as a boy Ted Williams had visited a radio station and been amazed to find that the announcer was nothing like the picture that his voice had conjured up in his listeners.
The announcer had then told him that radio was ‘Theatre Of The Mind’ and everything was possible in it.
The boy was hooked and set forth to have a similar career.
.
Unfortunately drugs and alcohol worked their dark magic and Ted became a street person who lived in a homeless peoples’ camp, his one-time talent completely hidden.
.
At the time the video was taken he had been clean for two years and was ready to take another try at life.
He seems likeable and reminds me of one of America’s old favourites….Sammy Davis Junior.
.
Good Luck to him and I hope he makes it.

.
Just listen to this!
.
….What a voice!
