Tell Me Wishing Well, Will My Dreams Come True!

Hello, Hello,

.

Wednesday dawns, with warmth and light grey skies, accompanied by the happy tapping of house elves working industriously on our own little gingerbread cottage, the rhythmic chanting of ‘High-ho, high-ho, it’s off to work we go’ in a fine tenor counterpoint!

.

I am bending before a bright mirror, held up before me by a dozen pretty bluebirds, tying a bow neatly in my short helmet of jet-black thickly bouncing hair.

My usual outfit of a floaty blue and white dress, complete with high stand-up collar, is looking fine.

.

Oh don’t you be so pedantic….okay then, I am here in my slightly less than pristine off-white towelling dressing gown, waiting for Big H to fetch me some breakfast tea and toast, while listening to the amazingly loud hammering which some itinerant stonemason’s are creating as they apply themselves lustily to the repair of my castle drawbridge.

Watched with intent wonder by the barefoot goose-girls and their plump white feathered flock.

.

In other words….we are having some work done by the builders today.

.

It may been a somewhat noisy, somewhat early start to the day, but it is very cheering to watch something actually being done once again.

.

Poor old Big H cannot do any house-mending anymore, so we must rely on imported labour at the moment, which I am sure galls him when he has to pay for it, given that he is was so completely competent at DIY himself when he was fitter.

Of course, he used to take ages to actually get on with such stuff in the first place, but once started he was a whizz at doing it.

.

Never mind though, because we received mail from the hospital about his future treatment recently.

It was a fine relief to finally be informed that he is going to be given the growth hormone once the necessary arrangements have been sorted.

There are various tests and checks to be carried out during the first early trials, because it is tricky to sort out the amounts needed for the dosages etc, but we are thrilled about it.

Hopefully it will work as well for him as it does for Russell Watson and he will finally recover his zest and energy.

.

You never know your luck.

In future, because of these years of fatigue and inability, he may be happy to jump to complete all of the many small jobs that have been waiting around the house for years.

.

It truly could be a Walt Disney outlook, with any luck.

We could actually get to walk on the yellow brick road….and you gotta have heart!

.

Have a happy and industrious one yourselves.

LOL,

J,x.
