The Best Laid Plans.

Yet another Saturday.
And they still keep coming around with amazing regularity too.
.
Up until this moment my morning was getting increasingly frustrating because I could not get my damned computer to access the server at all.
This meant that, although I was ready to get my post done quickly and early, I have had to hang about until late in the morning.
.
It has been annoying, to say the least, but I eventually settled down and found a book to read.
It is by an old favourite of mine….Dean R Koontz….and the title is ‘Strangers’.
.
It is about a group of disparate people, who live in different locations in America, but they are all beginning to suffer from strange fears.
They also share a terrible and dreadful terror of the moon.
.
It turns out that they don’t have any connection at all, except for the fact that while they were travelling the country some time before, they all happened to stay at the same desert Motel.
.
It is the story of the slow unravelling of the truth of what strange experience they all were subject to at that particular time.
It is very very good….and scary!
.
So, although I was somewhat frustrated, I have actually had a good morning.
Just slightly different from the one that I intended to have.
But hey, that’s life!
.
I am now going to go and make some ‘doorstep‘ toast and Marmite and two big pots of green tea.
After that I shall wake up Big H and give him breakfast in bed….along with his latest library book….so that he can start his day with a treat.

Later on we shall probably go for a walk, weather permitting.
Today is still very cold, but not covered in ice and snow as promised, so we are ahead of the game.
