These Are A Few Of My Favourite Thingies.

Just thinking about that greeting to you.
Have you ever wondered whether we actually do have aliens living here with us on this planet of ours.
After all, if you take it biblically, we are described as having otherworldly beings walking amongst us, such as those described as angels.
.
There are also tales of a Great Flood and an ‘Adam and Eve’ situation in most cultures.
It was also fascinating to read the details about the remains of the ‘Ark’ which were discovered halfway up Mount Ararat.
.
.
And what about folklore and myth.
That would then cover creatures such as vampires, werewolves, goblins, alien spacemen and mermaids.
.
That certainly puts a more interesting slant on everyday life, does it not!
It adds a definite frisson to what would appear to be the ordinary.
.
There are also the seemingly elusive ‘others’, such as the Yeti, described in many different cultures as the Sasquatch, Bigfoot, Yowie and the Abominable Snowman.
.
These tales are as old as man himself.
There have been tales of other creatures, common to all indigenous peoples such as American Indians and Australian Aborigines etc., for thousands of years.
.
There may be different names for fairies, elves, gnomes, monsters and giants etc. all over the world, but they are still all describing the same things.
Why are we so set against even considering all of this.
Why do we need to feel so strongly that we know everything, and that we are so totally in control.
.
Why do we turn away from interest and wonderment, there are such marvellous conversations and trains of thought, that can lead from the open-mindedness to consider all the possibilities of all possible things.
To me, life is less rich if it gets too practical.
I like to believe in the possibilities of everything and be absolutely certain of nothing!
.
One thing you can be relatively sure of is that I you were an alien living here, you would have to be insane to let anyone know, because you would probably end your days in a government facility somewhere having your insides examined to destruction.
I would definitely keep a very, very low profile indeed.

This is not actually the subject that I intended to write about, but hey,perhaps the ‘aliens’ made me do it.
