Tuesday’s Child.
Hey,
.
Up once more to connect with you in the earlier hours.
.
I went to bed a bit early last night so that I could read my book in a bit of peace and quiet as Big H was watching a weird film called ‘The Dancer Upstairs’, I think.
He was interested to see what happened as it unfolded, partly because it was directed by John Malkovitch, who is an actor that he quite admires.
Far too late and far too political and far too South American for me!
.
This is a pleasant morning here.
I was welcomed by a freshly washed world, which, although still damp, is pleasingly bright.
.
The birds have already been fed with one of their favourite leftovers, Pasta With Pesto, so they are having a good Tuesday so far.
I have consumed a hot toasted Warburton’s Potato Pancake and am now enjoying a huge pot of green tea.
Eventually you get used to these different changes of teas and now I find it to be tasty and refreshing in just the same way that Earl Grey was, although I must admit that if I am feeling a bit stressed I do turn to the latter.
.
Today will contain a visit to the hospital for Big H to have another injection of Testosterone.
He has also been rung by the Consultant, to warn him that the proper reading of his MRI scan has shown the growth/bleed? in the pituitary is just about touching the Optic Nerve.
This means that there will need to be further appointments to the optical department in order to decide whether it can be left to see what happens or whether something needs to be done about it immediately.
Not a fun thought for him, but at least he knows what is wrong with him now after so many years of rubbish health, especially as they said that he should probably be dead from it by now.
I hate to think how much all of this treatment would cost if we had to pay for it instead of having a National Health Service, so at least we do get some things right here.
There is still treatment for everyone, although stays in hospitals here do carry the risk of contracting MRSA, which is a sobering thought.
.
I shall away to get a bath now and wash my hair so that I am ready for whatever unfolds.
Have a fine one yourself,
J,x.
