Just to update you on the cat that was dumped in a wheelie bin for 15 hours by a passing woman.

The cat, Lola, is now fine after her long ordeal in the dark.
Mary Bale, 45, who had been arrested after a CCTV camera showed her stroking the cat before suddenly grabbing it and throwing it into the bin before hurrying away, escaped from court with only a fine.
She was banned from keeping or owning animals for a period of five years, given a £250 fine and told to pay over £1,000 costs.
She was lucky, because I believe that it could actually have been a maximum of a £20,000 fine or even 6 months imprisonment.

What a strange thing it was to do in the first place!
Mary Bale says that she still cannot understand why she did it.
