What must it be like to be the inventor Rob Innes, 37, the man who has just co-created the Seabreacher X.

This is a 16.5 foot fibreglass boy’s toy, that looks exactly like a Great White Shark, and reaches a speed of 50 mph above the water and a cool 20 mph underneath the surface, where it can remain for 20 seconds..
It can also jump 12ft up into the air.

Rob’s partner is Dan Piazza, 52, and they have been designing submersibles for more than a decade.
At present their company ‘Innespace’ has a waiting list of at least a year, for the many impatient buyers who are willing to pay their £60,000 in order to have great fun.

It takes a team of several builders about three months to assemble each custom-built model and they sound like great fun for all of you rich adrenaline junkies out there.
.
Me, I have too many nightmares about ‘Jaws’, without getting anywhere near a craft that is painted to look just like a Great White, complete with a terrifying maw crammed with rezor sharp teeth…. and fins….and a 260hp engine!
