Wearing Red Increases Your Sex Appeal.

Hey,

.

Interesting findings on the ‘how best to attract men’ front have just been published.

.

The study which seems to prove this premise, was done in New York, at Rochester University.

.

The method used was to show pictures of a reasonably attractive lady to two groups of male students.

The only difference in the two pictures used, was that one group looked at the woman wearing a red top and the other group looked at the same woman in a blue top.

The men were then asked what they would say to this woman in conversation.

.

The group who had looked at the woman when she was wearing the red top would have chosen to ask her more flirtatious questions than the other group would have done.

.

Scientifically, it is thought to be because many female animals turn red when they are in a period of fertility and want to advertise a mating opportunity.

It could be that wearing red clothing signals a similar fertility to the human males, and triggers a similar response.

If the research is correct, this mans that the males will be more interested in a woman who is wearing red, and will pay her more attention, as she will seem more sexually promising.

No wonder then, that so many women are given red underwear as a gift from their significant other….so much so that it has become a joke!

.

Strangely enough, there is also research to suggest that women find men in red equally attractive.

This may also have something to do with the fact that in the animal world Chimpanzees go red during competition to become the top male in a group.

It also appears that 9 out of 10 female Zebra Finches prefer the male bird who has got the showiest red beak.

This is also a sign of excellent health in the male bird and therefore signals that he would be a good choice as a mate.

.

Therefore it would seem that women could well see red as a sign of an alpha male who is a good breeding choice.

.

So, wearing a red tie may well do more for a man than just make him look more positive in the workplace.

.

Don’t say you have not been informed, remember to ‘wear red to get ahead’.

Let today be your ‘red letter’ day!
