X Factor With Videos: Matt Cardle. My Prediction Of 2010 Winner.

Hey Peeps,

.

As some of you may be aware, it is now that time of year once more.

X Factor has started again.

Yeaaaah!

.

I make no excuses for my obsession with this whole series.

It probably sounds cheesy, but for me there is a definite fascination in seeing someone living an ordinary life making a try for the extraordinary.

Their opportunity of a lifetime.

.

Yes, there are more important things going on in the world, but this gets to be something much more intimate and personal.

We all have our favourites, and a lot of people vote for theirs week by week, gaining an amazing amount of pleasure from the whole process.

.

I have never voted for anything of that sort, except for one time during one of Simon’s previous competitions, but that is another story entirely!

.

Last year my favourite was Jamie Archer, right from the first audition he made, but I did predict that a young man from Shields was a possible winner.

This was Joe McElderry of course, and he did deservedly win.

.

But I definitely favoured Jamie, who was an older contestant with a great style of his own.

Unfortunately, he had to conform with the choice of songs that Simon liked, and apparently there were many arguments which were overheard regarding that subject.

Sometimes the contestant knows what is best for them I think.

Why try to make them the same as a someone else when they are original to begin with.

.

This year I have been watching the nationwide auditions, and then the chosen few performing their bootcamp auditions.

I already have my favourite singer, the one that I would bet on.

.

He is called Matt Cardle, a 27 year old from Essex.

At the moment he is a painter and decorator who is spending his working life painting hotel rooms, and who is now hoping that he has opened his last tin of magnolia paint.

I hope so too.

.

This was his first audition on the nationwide search…
.

.

.
This was his choice for the bootcamp challenge…

.
He is just so appealing, with a sort of vulnerability, and a beautiful voice.
.
My only worry for him is that he may not realize how good he is and suffer from a lack of confidence.
.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for him.
.
He’s definitely a winner.
.
J,x.
