X Factor Results. The Final. With Videos. 13th December 2009.

Hey,

.

So here we are.

We have finally reached the Final.

.

Who will win tonight.

Will it be Joe or Olly!

Let’s find out.

.

It kicked off with a group performance by the X Factor final twelve singing “Never Forget”.

.

.

Then the first songs of the night by the two finalists.

They chose their own personal favourite song from the series.

Olly Murs.

“Twist and Shout“.

.

.

Lots of dancers onstage with him again.

It was a bit like Michael Jackson’s Thriller in part.

Very enthusiastic judges.

.

Then Joe McElderry.

“Don’t stop Believing”.

.

.

Thank God no dancers.

The judges totally loved him.

Danni said he was the best voice onstage tonight.

Great enthusiasm for him.

.

Then we had a special guest performance from JLS and Alexandra Burke from last year’s X Factor.

“Bad Boys”. and “Put your hands up”.

.

.

Next guest performance from Leona Lewis.

“Stop Crying Your Heart Out”.

.

.

The finalists then sang their last song.

This has been chosen for the winner to record for their first record release mid next week.

.

Olly Murs: “The Climb”.

.

.

It was a very different type of song for him but he obviously tried his best.

Then we saw a short ‘Memory Lane’ of his time on X Factor.

This was followed by messages from his family, friends and Robbie Williams.

It made him cry.

.

Joe McElderry singing his version of the song.

.

.

I thought that his version was by far the superior one.

It was far more suited to his style and voice.

Louie liked his version best.

Cheryl was very emotional.

His ‘Memory Journey’ followed and then the messages from his friends and family.

Joe almost cried after that….and Cheryl did!

.

Then we had the next guest.

George Michael singing his new Christmas song: “December Song”.

.

.

Then the last surprise guest.

Sir Paul McCartney who obviously does not share Sting’s strongly expressed distaste for this type of reality show.

“Drive My Car”.

.

.

He was joined by all the finalists onstage.

He actually looked a lot like he did in the heyday of The Beatles.

Live And Let Die.

.

.

It was nice to see him again, although his voice is now a bit creaky….but why wouldn’t it be!

.

And finally…. The Results of 24 hours of public voting.

An amazing 10 million votes were cast.

.

THE WINNER WAS JOE McELDERRY!

.

He then sang again….his new single.

He could not stop smiling.

How wonderful to see someone’s dreams come true.

.

Ahhhh….
